Route 100 in VT!
www.travelguideofamerica.com/scenicdrives/route100
Route 100 runs the entire length of the state. From the MA state line to Canada. The scenery is awesome. Everything from pasture land to mountains. The road runs along rivers and lakes, through large towns and quaint New England villages.
A couple of “must stop” places would be the Vermont Country Store in the town of Weston where they carry just about everything. Many of the items will get you reminiscing about your younger years. They also have free samples of all the food items!

Another place to stop is Killington. It’s not just a ski resort but it’s also a neat little community with many summer activities.

Then there’s Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory. You can’t ride Route 100 and not stop at Ben and Jerry’s!

The road has many narrow twists and turns along its length. Three or four waterfalls make for good rest stops. Route 100 can be done in a long day of riding but it’s better to make a full weekend of it and enjoy the sights.
