Live For Speed is the real deal Racing/Driving simulator that I have reciently discovered and have fallen in love with it. This is considered by most to be the single most advanced racing "Simulator" ever created due to is physics engine and car handling characteristics. This is NOT a "video game". You do not race for money in order to buy a better car/upgrades. You have to work on learing track lines, breaking, passing and car setups etc...
Once I messed with the demo using a mouse for a few days and browsed their forums, I went all out. I am now an S2 Licensed driver and I also bought a Logitech G25 force feed back wheel with 6 speedshifter and 3 pedals.
Fully customizable car skins, unreal replay camera options. Fully intergrated web site that tracks life time stats for all cars on all tracks. Everything from FWD 4 banger GTI type cars, RWD sports cars, Indy and even a fully licensed BMW/Intel F1 car.
I know most of the locals get to do this stuff in their own back yard but I'm sure there is still an intrest in this kind of thing. I would love to see some of you jump onto this =D
