My first IRON BUTT ride

They call it an Iron Butt ride for a reason....YOU NEED ONE!
The four of us (Dad Brother Son and myself) The Peacock Gang, went around Michigan State. Up Rt 23 to the top and back down Rt 31 and over to Columbus Ohio. A little over 23 hours, but under 24.

Planning on the 1500 mile one next, but looking to stay on the highways all the way.:eek:

I have a 1,000 mile, 6 State (Ohio, WV, VA, NC, TN, KY) "day" planned with my brother in law on 7-7-7.

Make your stops as short as possible. That is what killed us the most. Gas and dash. Have fun.
