I just put the new Dunlop Qualifiers, both front and rear, on my CBR600F4. The short test ride that I made this morning was very impressive. Good feedback and the bike seems lighter, easier to handle, as oppose to the predecessor Dunlop D208ZR. I was wondering if anyone else has these as well if they had any other feedback?

I will be at Deals Gap on May 20th, so I will be seeing how they handle on the Dragon.

I put qualfiers on my 06 kawi 636 for this year. I love them. This is only my second set of tires although. The bike came with batalaxx (however it's spelled). I think they are very responsive and Ive wore the little dunlop symbols on the outer edge off. The biggest difference I noticed from my old ones was the response I get when its in a steep lean. The tires give/slip but not in a bad way, they just come right back and never once have I thought I was going down when this occurs. IN THE COLD ALTHOUGH, THEY ARE A LOT WORSE THAN MY OLD TIRES!! I had just got my bike painted and pulled out to get my bike home. It was about 30 degrees out and when I pulled out I went into a slight lean and boom I was down in a flash. Ive rode dirtbikes, etc since I was five/six and I have never went down so fast LOL. Hope this helps..........I'll be at the gap for my first time in about.........ahhh 6 hours............i cant sleep and ready to go.:)

Thanks for your feedback. I have not ridden it in cold weather yet, but when it cools down in the fall I will start off slow. I think Dunlop tried to reduce this problem but for any tire there is a warm up period, especially when its colder out.

I hope your trip to the Gap is going well! I will be there Sunday evening!

After some bad experiences with 2077RRs, I went to PP's.

Then, recently tried the Qualifiers on the track. Like 'em!

Would like to try the PP Races at some point, too.

I was at Deal's Gap Sunday afternoon through Wednesday morning, and let me tell you the trip was amazing. Except for all the accidents I saw, luckily no one was seriously hurt.

Anyways, back to the Qualifiers. After talking to people at the Gap I got mixed reviews about the tires. My first pass on the Dragon I wasn't really pushing it and it got the tires all the way over. Once I got more confident with the tires I was able to get a lot better feel of the road and the bike. The Qualifiers were awesome. After a tire pressure change, which someone suggested ( 31 Front, 28 Rear) the tires responded even better. I was able to get full lean out of the bike. After making multiple passes I was able to grind a chunk off my right peg, and I also scrapped the body panel on the right side on the ground, chipping away my nice clean paint job (my "Dragon Battle Scars" as I call it). Basically, the tires out performed my expectations allowing my to drag pegs and body panels with out any loss of traction or confidence.

And yes once I realized I was leaning to far to drag body panels, I started hanging off the bike more, and dragging my knee. :-) Thanks for the tips from The Preacher and others!

My first set of Quals are about worn out now. I like 'em enough to get another set!
I'd say they're as good (or better) than base PP's.

Qualifiers! The ONLY tire I put on my 1000 and when the 600 needs a set my only decision will be what size. I drag race with qualifiers and run road courses with them. All around best tire I have used!!
