Trip Questions...

Greetings to all. A friend and I will be making a trip to Deals Gap the last week of June. I'm coming from Nashville, he from Lexington, KY, and we're meeting for a week long motorcycle excursion. Our plan is to stay at Deals Gap that Monday and Tuesday night, then riding east and staying in the Sylva/Cherokee area for two days. While there, we plan on riding the Blue Ridge Parkway, 441 and possibly 32. We then plan on coming back to the Gap and staying there Friday night before we head out. First off, are there any roads south of Sylva and Franklin that are close enough and are rides we don't want to miss? Also, any tips on good places to stay in that area? I've read up on a lot of this, but just wanted to get any info I could.

Im very close to your location. I live in Irvine, KY about 50 miles from lexingtion. I actually work in lexington. Always looking for others to ride with. I currently have one other person I ride with.
