Holy Crap Man!!! This Is For Real!!!

I just returned from my first trip to deals gap and have 1 word for everyone "WOW". This place is unreal. I live in PA. And have never seen anything like it. Set the cruise at 40mph and you are dragging knee to the extent that your brand new pucks are burned-up in 1 full day of riding. Those new pilot powers I thought would last me till the end of summer, well the center looks new but the edges are down to the wear bars. I passed 1 cop 3 times and he never gave a second look. I was never behind anyone for more than 3 to 4 corners until they gave me a chance to pass. This is better than a track day and it's free. And get this, sometimes the cars hug the inside so much that their tires pick-up stones from the side of the road but people actually stop and kick the stones off the road to keep it clean. There were many people taking pictures, after looking thru about 1000 of them I found great ones of me and my friend coming hot into a corner while passing a guy on a hayabusa,oh yes I am getting this picture.:D

I totally agree. I go to school at Penn State and I live in MD so riding the types of roads in NC/TN is totally amazing! Definitely worth the gas money just to get to Deals Gap.

I have made a trip the past two summers and I will be back on May 20th!

Yes, I agree with what he said. I was 42 when I discovered this place 4 hours from where I live. I've now been back 62 times and will be back Saturday. I've introduced about 40 guys to their first time here. I'm just worried that the popularity might kill it. Charlie

I made a short video of my trip. Tank cam with my friend in front.Do to size of my front tire the speedo is wrong.I never went over 40 mph, at least not in the corners:D .
