It's only April and I feel like I'm in Macy's day parade already. To WAVE or not to WAVE. Should I wave at only red BMW's or everyone. Will a nod of the head work just as well? If I'm doing 130 mph with the cops behind me, will the other guy be upset that I didn't wave back?

Motorcyclists don't wave at Scooters. I traded my Roadking for a Burgman and havent waved yet!

The "WAVE" is a funny thing!!!! I have 2 basic waves 1) The HEY. (slight lift of the left hand). 2) The Draw (Hip slap and shoot) just for fun............

If I see you in time I'll wave-it doesn't matter if you wave back-just don't give me the middle finger salute.

I wave at all if possible. This is a courtesy that motorcyclist have use to acknowledge our community. If you drive down my street out in the country the locals will wave at you. When cagers pull over on the dragon I wave, one of the many things that differentiates use form the lost and confused general public. The loss of this is an indicator of the loss to our community.

I wave when I can. I'm in Jacksonville FL. and we have a 'no wave' weekend coming up. During Biketoberfest and Bike Week in Daytona there are so many bikes most just give up the wave. If you waved at everybody you would be riding 90% of the time with just one hand, not good in all the traffic during these events.
