I want to take a second to thank Brad from the Deals Gap M/C Resort for helping me this week.
I made a bad decision to try and get a little more life out of my rear tire and left for TN on Easter Sunday. When I got to Townsend, I found my mistake. The center of my Diablo Strada had lost its contour and flattened. The belts were about to show up as well. FJR was handling like "ass". It was too late to do anything that night, so I hooked up with some friends and went to the Smoky Mtn. Brewery and drowned my sorrows. Monday morning I tried to call Wheeler's to see if I could get a shoe and only got the answering machine. I know Mondays are not good mojo for finding an open dealer so I went to plan B and called Deals M/C Resort to see if they had any ideas. Brad was very helpful and got me in touch with Ken Wheeler who put a new skin on the bike and saved our trip. It's these kinds of folks that make me happy to be a biker.
I offer a sincere Thanks to Brad and Ken. Both went out of their way to help me and I surely do appreciate it.
