Gap trip April 7th

Our group out of Huntsville, Al. will be down Saturday April 7th between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. I hope that I can get around 10 of us to come for the CBR1000RRnet weekend.

Who would have thought that we would be unloading our trailer in 20 something weather in the snow at the bottom of the Gap. Race tires were scary-slippery. By our second pass we were dragging knees after a 3-4 mile warmup. They felt like they got up to about 100 degrees upon touching them. Had a great time! And very little traffic! One crash out of 5 bikes unfortunately. No one hurt but 06 R6 bodywork.

Yea it was pretty COLD and interesting riding the Cherahala Fri. evening in the snow. Had a good time riding Sat. Jay handled his crash very well and Sunday we still managed to ride down to Cashiers and put about 150 miles under us before we headed back. Thanks for burning my video to disc, but when i tried to watch it it wouldn't play on any thing I had, maybe you could burn me another copy hopefully. Me and Jay and another guy with a R-6 will see you at Barbers this Sat. we scored V.I.P. parking, museum passes, free race tickets, and hospitality treatment with the Haas people so if I do see you I'll act all stuck up!
