Ok Gang, construction is done today yaaaaaaa. 3 months from start to finish with a few suprises tossed at us. We found major fire damage covered up by past owners doubled the cost of the building and added a month of construction time. But all in all we made it and can not wait for the summer. We also found alot of great contractors who have worked late into the evenings and worked Saturdays to get us off the ground and running. Thanks guys you did a A+ job in a very short time. For all our customers and friends who have helped out, emailed us suggestions and for all the great comments thanks a ton. So as we have been asked a few times we are posting a before and after shots from the entire process.

Ok gang, here is the new outside look. You will find the entire front porch area is now covered. The bench to the right of the front door has been cut in 1/2 but we doubled the seating to the left. We added a outside pavilion for our group cook outs.

Now for the big changes: The inside has had a 100% remodel. We now have over 3000 sq feet and 9 ft ceilings in the store. No more crammed in like cattle you can freely move around and see everything.

Simply awesome! The transformation is amazing...excellent work folks!! I can't wait to see it for myself this week...we have the annual Spring S2000 gathering, Wake the Dragon this coming weekend (April 13th, 14th, 15th)...but I'll be making my way over on Wednesday!! Can't wait!!!

Came to Deals Gaps last year in July for first time. Was visiting family in Waynesville, and decided to take a day and check out The Dragon. It only took one trip & now I cannot wait to get back. Planning a trip down May 12 to 15 with (4) friends who have never been there. See you in May.
