headin to the dragon area mid june...is the waterslide near brevard and lookout mountain near chattanooga crowded this time of year and worth doin? also are lodging reservations around asheville and robbinsville mandatory for midweek stay?

I have no idea what to tell you about the waterslide in Chatty, but I can definitely tell you that Mid June is VERY busy (Honda Hoot is 3rd week of) and reservations are strongly recommended if you want to stay in the immediate area (Resort, Fontana, Tapoco, Robbinsvile, even Maryville).

thanks z...the waterslide is a natural feature near brevard off hwy 276...sounds like "cool" fun after a full days ride... a 150' slide down rock along the creek. Lookout mountain is the one near chatty and doesn't look that good anyway...so it's been scratched from the route.
