First ride of the new year

I just couldn't take it any more. I had to get on the bike this morning and ride to work. Here in Ohio we still have a lot of snow on the ground, the roads are clear but the bike parking spot at work is full of snow.
Everyone must think that guy is nuts. It was 29 outside when I left the house. Now that I know I will survive the 40 mile trip, I'll be riding more.
The old 84 nighthawk seemed to love to be out once again.

Thats cool... I live near Ashland Ohio and I just had to go for a short ride myself yesterday. I will be getting on the bike in a bit for another ride! I have ridden every month now since I bought the bike in late may. 2006 Vulcan 900LT

Heck, it was snowing in Northern Ohio this morning at 6:15 am when I left for work.

A bike excursion didn't even come to mind - I was swearing (go to He$$ Nolan - the weather man) to the weatherman on the radio, when he said flurries in the AM, followed by clearing and then flurries/rain on Thursday.

My first ride is probably 3-4 weeks off.

Know what ya mean Nighthawk. I got the EYE when I rolled into work at 16deg. Are Ya Crazy?!?:eek: seemed to be the comments. Guess ya just get used to riding when ya can in Oh.
