Thursday Gap trip, Feb. 22

Will be up to the Gap Thursday on a new 07 CBR1000, red and black. 40 miles so far on it. Hope to have a good time and stay upright. Been lucky and blessed on 59 previous trips. Hopefully will have two friends on the trailer with me. High is supposed to be 70. Charlie

we do not leave until Fri, the show is only a few hrs away so we go down and set up on the first day of the show

I ve got my Black and Red 06 CBR 1000 RR that has 150 miles on it.LOL that is funny. I just got it in January and got to ride it home from the dealer and that is it. It has been killing me to get it out. Just by luck I am off on Thursday and I am headed up that away as well. Stay Safe and I hope to see ya up there.

It is suppose to rain tonight Tues and maybe it will get some of the salt off of the road. You may be from this area, but if not, we ve had some really cold temps for the last 2 weeks and a snow a couple of days ago. They have really salted down the roads. Anyways not to sound like I know it all but I just thought I would pass that on to you all. I ride over from home over here in Sevier County and come up from Maryville to Townsend and over the Foot Hills Parkway if it is open. I usually get gas at the gas station in townsend before heading over.

We had a great time and I met Sgt. Conrad. Wish I'd got to ride with you since you probably know that road pretty well.. Two red and black CBR1000's would have looked sharp for a pic by Darryl. He was there a short while. Wow, what a rider that Warrior rider was. Had trouble catching him up there. Saw Doc at 71 still hustling that ZX10 through the curves. Great day and no accidents that I could tell.

We will be at the ATL show Saturday. My crazy son, age 6 will be there so watch out!

Yes I had a Great Time too. I could tell I have not riden in a while, I was a little sore the next day. LOL. I am going to try and go back up on Saturday again if it all works out. Pucks it was Great to meet you and tell your wife I said you it is OK to buy the New Exhuast for your bike.:D . By the way you probally would not of have had any problems keeping up with me, I ve rode it over the past couple of years off and on, but I am just learning to try and get better. Inten Z would have been the one to keep up with had the R1. He smokes me everytime.:p . Anyways it was Great to just get out and ride again. Inten Z It was Great to see you again too and hopefully with our schudules we can ride alot this year. If you get a chance PM me and give me your Cell number. Thanks. You all stay safe..
