Well Gang, 2006 is coming to an end here at Deals Gap and we would like to thank everyone for another wonderful year. We can not name all the great folks we meet each season but we would like to recognize some of the folks who go out of their way to support us and Deals Gap. Firts the East TN Riders group, can not say enough wonderful things they realy are our area support group. They do the road side clean ups, help folks recover bikes from the hill, take folks to see the doc when they need it, ect ect ect I could go on with a giant list. Thanks guys. Check out their web site www.easttnriders.com . Also, Keith for the great door prizes. Ben,Zee and Francoise for all the mmmmmm character you bring lol. The guys who hang out on the front porch every week...love the stories. And of course Beth and Connor for the blessing they bring to my personal life.
New for 2007: Well as most of you know the old General store/Gas station is in the middle of a giant renovation, only thing left if the four outside walls. Next year you will see a huge improvement in the store, all offices and storage has been moved upstairs so the store will be easier to move around in.
Outside pavilions: Two pavilions will be constructed so folks can have a covered area to eat at in the camp ground and up by the store.
Car parking: We have doubled the size of the gravel car parking area right now in an attempt to control parking better next year.
Cabin sites are being designated and we will start on preparing the sites this summer. Hoping by 2008 we will have several cabin options along with the hotel.
