Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you,
Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.

One died for your soul;
the other for your freedom.

This is the best post of the year folks....we can complain about bad press, LEO'S, people crossing the double yellow because of soldiers past and present. With out them we could be worring about death squads, secret police, no voting and no freedom. Look at the picture of this Marine, we worry about a speeding ticket yet he smiles though he lost a hand,leg and eye for us. Realy makes you understand that alot of our problems are small in comparison and really are silly to complain about....I bet you he does not complain about his injuries.

So from all of us at Deals Gap.....Thank you for your sacrafice,your service to our country and protection of our freedoms.

"...offered to die..."

perhaps more accurately "died..."

Yesterday was 'Rememberance Day' here in England. Same as Veteran's Day. Being an American over here, it was interesting to watch. The church services here were pre-empted by the memorial service in the center of town with the military band, members of the local military post, mayor and all the town folk present to have a silent time (11th hour, 11th day 11th month) say prayers, do roll call for the people of this small town that died all led by one of the local preachers.

Just FYI
