I can't get the picture upload to work. Is it functional?
I get an error - - - the pics are sized small enough?
error message:

Happy to be part of another good forum. I've had a little trouble getting pics to post. I'm guessing that in order to have a picture like the one above, you must have it on a web site. Other wise you have to use thumbnail pics?

Login >> User CP >> Control Panel >> Settings and Options >> Edit Profile Picture
From the screen that comes up, either Browse for a picture on your computer or list the link to it from your site. Either one will work.
Max size is 100 x 100 px.
Thanks for the patience while the kinks are worked out...

Great job! Here is a Group picture of some buddies having a good time at Deals Gap.
Ben, KTM should bring a couple 950SM's for the April 1st kick off! In fact, they should let you keep one for a few months to help promote the ultimate bike for the twisties :-)
See you on the 31st
Tom
Sign me up Tom. I can always use another bike.

Did you sell your Repsol? What is your next bike?
I'm sure you would enjoy the 950SM

Still have the Repsol, the 600RR, the F4i and all the 50's. I have had a few offers for the Repsol, but nothing concrete. Although I do like the 1K, its too much for here. I will probably keep it, unless someone throws a bunch of money at me though.
As much as I would love to have the KTM, when I ride them, they vibrate me to death. I ahve been looking at the CRF450R, but I just cant get over spending $10K for a motard.
I guess its inlines for me right now..... :)

Ben,
Check supermotojunkie.com..they occasionally have Crf450R's for sale already SM'd for $5,500 or so and with all the upgrades...also have other brands. These guys do what Tom and I and put a fortune in them, then can only get out of it what a stock bike is worth. End result is you get a bunch racin parts for nothing. The Repsol will sell when people come out of their houses. Don't give up on a tard, they are a fun change of pace.

I know what you mean about vibration. I had to ride the Duke all day before deciding on buying it. It seemed to vibrate too much at first - - - but after I rode for a 100 miles or so, I was used to it. I would take it cross country now. The 525MXC is very smooth and super light.
If you only want a Deals Bike - - - then a KTM525 or SM510R should be the ticket (lot's of power and light weight).

I've been coming to this place since it was a hiker's and fishermen's paradise 25 years ago and spent much time on foot in the back country in Joyce Kilmer. Now I have this hot little cooper that would really like to snatch a few of those curves if the new breed would consent to share a wee bit of the road. Any news of a cooper gathering this year? Long days and pleasant nights to all.

Outstanding! You shall certainly see me, then, May 4th. (Silver cooper, no less...) Thanks for the 411. If you're able to post any details about who to contact about it, I'd be most grateful.
