All -- three of us will be leaving the gettin-chillier by the moment northern midwest pretty soon (9 October), and while I've had BIG FUN all the times I've been to the area, I realized one thing has been missing --

I can remember one late-night run looking for ANYTHING to eat that wasn't road kill (late being deinfed as after 8pm) --

so, I ask the assembled brain trust -- pother than the new cafe (which I'm looking forward to seeing for the first time), where's a fella to go for good eats at the end of the day after enjoying the riding . . .

preferably, good steak!

Iv'e heard of a popular steak house but didnt get a chance to go.

after 8 mmmmm that is a tough one. Right now the only place will be Fontana Village, about 11 miles south of here. Other than that, all the way to Bryson city or back to the TN side, bolth well over 30 miles.
