Dirt adventures on a Z1000!

My wife and I trailered to Dillard Ga this past Labor Day weekend, did a short loop into NC. I've passed the service road to Wayah Bald a few times, but never taken it to the top. Curiosity got the best of me this time and up we went. Not too bad, but much more suited for a dual purpose. Here are a few pictures from the loop. Enjoy!

that dirt road info is good to hear. i'll be bring my new gf up there this weekend, camping on the nantahala river and riding a couple days. i had planned that loop too--and of course the drgon and cherohala.

That road looks cool, probably a bit tough to manage an Ultra Classic huh? Ah well, still great pics and plenty to see in that area....:D

we rode up there--about 4 miles up a grave road. not hard at all. a guy followaed us up riding a harley. he said no problems at all.
