I'm going to be back up there the first weekend in October. Just wanted to see if anyone else had plans for being up there around that time. Brad, how's the crowd that time of year on the weekends?

I'm trying to put together a small group of adventure riders. I'll post back a time or two. Does your tug run the TN river?

Thanks for the info. I'll check that out. What boat are you on? I am a search and rescue coordinator for the Coast Guard in New Orleans. I've probably heard you on the VHF.

I am on a VStrom 650 and for the most am not into riding for the sporting aspect. It's just an escape for me. Glad things went well for you during the inspection. There is so much good riding in that area. The Gap and the Cherohala get most of the coverage, but there are so many great roads.
