Hey tow boat. Glad to have you on hear. The Dragon isn't bad if you just remember to take it easy and don't get stupid. Cruisers can scrape real easy, evident by some of pictures that are taken. I just cruise through and I ride a Busa.

Welcome aboard, towboat! (no pun intended) Just remember to ride your own ride and take it very easy the first few times through. In my opinion, most of the non-natives that crash on the Dragon think that since they can tear up the roads back home that they will be able to do the same on 129. Other than the Smokies and other parts of the Appalachians, the Dragon ain't like most roads back home, but sometimes that ain't discovered until it's too late and the bike is damaged. Just take it easy and you will have a blast!! :D

Hello & welcome. I too am new to this site. I have visited the dragon numerous times, most recently with the Busa Bash in April. I also ride a Kawasaki Nomad. I am coming back this Labor day. I love the area. Looking forward to a chili dog and/or sausage & pancakes, probably not at the same time. Definately take your time, remember to ride within your limits. I not only look where I'm going but I keep a close look on who's coming up behind me. I signal to let the fast riders come on by.

Hey poppy. I live near the Dragon in TN and ride a Busa. I am planning on attending some part of the Bash this year in Sept. I have been keeping track of it and at least want to make a showing to see everybody and hopefully meet some of the people that I chat with on the forum. Will you be able to get here in Sept.

Hey chris, A large project at work will not allow me to come during this years fall busa bash. I was there in april and it was great. Yea, I followed that thread for months and was pumped to get there. I will definately be back in the spring. I recommend you go, you will love it. Do the bonfire and group ride! :D
