Brad......Wondering about the progress of getting the web cam up and running at the resort. Are ya'll getting close??? Talked to a friend last night while seeing her on the Duvall Street cam from Sloppy Joes in Key West. That was pretty cool to be able to do that! I just need a "Crossroads" fix and the webcam would help scratch my itch....at least until I can get back down that way!:)

Almost their, we are installing all the equipment Mon or Tue, from their should not be too long. We had to wait on a special 200 ft cable so it will make it to our server.

So when will this thing be up and going. It would be nice to be able to check what was going on before I leave the house headed that way.

Great!!! can it be used to help catch people like the group that trashed the parking lot a couple of weeks ago?
I thought this whole web cam idea was great myself until I thought about it.
You guys realize that now when I visit the gap without my wife she will be able to spy on me!
It would be just my luck to have the Swedish Bikini team ask for a ride on Tanks bike and the wife is watching.
It could happen.
Hasn't happened yet.
But it could.
Maybe.
Probably not.

I now have the cam and the cable.... all I have to do is find the time to install it. We should have it done by the weekend.

The camera is up but we are not happy with how little you can see, so we are moving it tomarrow AM and will have it up and running tomarrow as soon as our designer gets the link going.

Yeah I definately need a fix being stuck here in Iraq. you know there is not one good road here.
The webcam is now available. Go to http://www.dealsgap.com and click on the Deal's Gap Cam on the right.

ps) have you tried enabling popups for the site on IE?
Would it be possible to shorten the time between images? 3 minutes is a long time to wait to see "our" favorite resort and guest.

It's a Java Script. You willl need to go to Tools >> Pop-up Blocker >> Turn off Pop-up Blocker if you are using Internet Explorer. If you want to be able to see it everytime you visit dealsgap.com, follow the above, but go to Pop-up Blocker Settings and add dealsgap.com to the Address of Web Site to Allow.
