Route to take from Asheville to Deal's Gap

What would be the most scenic / fun route on a motorcycle to take from Asheville to Deal's Gap? I will be staying at the Baymont Inn on Hendersonville Rd in Asheville and plan to ride to Deal's Gap.

Most scenic, but longer,, way is Asheville, MAggie Valley, Cherokee, Clingman's Dome, ( about 6,000 ft elevation) GAtlinburg , Townsend, Foothills Parkway and left on 129..my guess is 3.5 to 4hrs. Every route is pretty scenic.

That would be a nice ride, take off early and stop by wheel through time motorcycle, they have a ton of vintage bikes. They are located in Maggie Valley.
