If any of you haven't had the good fortune to read the Road Racer X article about the Gap and the Resort, I strongly recommend it...extremely well written article, captures the people, feel, beauty and even some of the dangers of riding at our favorite place. . The only thing I take issue with is the decsription of the rooms, they are much better and cleaner than I had expected and much better than we experience when riding elsewhere. if ya can't stay at the resort , you are missing some of the best part of the experience.
My wife and I liked it. :)
Never mind the personal attachment we have to it, I do think it is one of the better articles that was written about the place. Typically, they talk about the road, and the surrounding area, but focusing on the resort was also much needed. I love going to motorcycle camp every day.
Thanks for the kind words Keith !!!!

The young lady who wrote the article , Laurel Allen, is very good..she has a future..and how about that picture at the overlook, with you and Zee looking away..very artsy...that would be a good one to frame....

This is all I could find on-line...
Caption "Welcome to Motorcycle Camp" with a picture of the "Tree of Shame"
Is the article on-line too? (or just in hard copy form?)

Git 'R Done...I brought the RoadRacer X article in but am having second thoughts about scanning and posting it, epecially since it is a current month, some concern about copyrights, etc. Anyone have an opinion on this ?

Great article!
"Motorcycle Camp";
Now I get it! ; and very fitting too, IMO.
I was not familiar with RoadRacerX magazine and after I couldn't find the article on-line, I called the "City News Stand" and they had it.
So I went and picked up a copy ($4.99 + tax) and I'm glad I did!
Looks like some great articles in here that will keep me entertained long enough to get my money's worth; and there's just something better to me about having a hard copy than staring at this screen all the time. :p
Thanks Khelton :)

I found mine at a Kroger food center of all places...try the grocery stores in your area. If nothing else write to RRX and ask to buy a copy.
