First trip to the Gap in May

Hello all! Making a trip down to the gap in May for the first time and wanted to find out if you think jeans, jacket, gloves, and a helmet is good enough or should I be going out and getting a full leather suit. Thanks for any input. Just noticed put in wrong forum categorie.

Depends on how agressive you want to be, if you plan on high speeds and knee dragong then bring the leathers. If you are just doing a casual spin through the gap then you should be fine. I have seen the flip flops and shorts deal a few times this year already.
