Fall foliage season is nearly upon us, and at Deals Gap, better known as the Dragon, the changing colors turn the renowned stretch of road shades of red, orange, yellow and earthy tones, creating a vibrant backdrop.

Gang, one of the number one question I get.....What is the best day of the week to ride The Dragon? Well thats a hard one as it changes constantly, last year the slow days where in the middle of the week, this year its the weekends. This year everyone is showing up Monday and Tuesdays thinking that the weekends are to busy. Best thing to do is look at our calendar and avoid the days with multiple group events and you should be ok. Another tip is come early in the day or late in the evenings as the road stays empty before 10 am and after 5 pm.

Looking forward to the new Tiger. Wass very happy with how the 2012 Tiger handled the mountains, highways and gravel roads and of course Deals Gap. But Triumph has added some serious upgrades in the past 5 years, the best being the ease on how you can now change modes without have to break out the owners manual. Being a year round rider the heated seats and grips will be a added bonus 6000 ft in Jan gets cold lol. Big thanks to Triumph of Knoxville for the great customer service.
